Pearl City Takes on Waianae for the first regular season game on 12/23/23. It was a close battle throughout the game and came down to the wire in the final minutes. Pearl City nailed a three to tie with a minute left in the fourth. With no teams scoring, the game would go to overtime. In OT, fatigue hit Pearl City hard as they would not score a single field goal despite getting many looks. Waianae barely slipped away with the victory to get to 1-0 on the season.
